Bottles
MANUFACTURING PROCESS
PET bottles, containers, and jars are manufactured using either a single-step or double-step process. In the single-step process, the preform injection and stretch-blowing are combined into a single machine, transforming plastic resin into the final product seamlessly. The double-step process, on the other hand, involves two distinct stages—first, preform injection molding is done on an injection machine, followed by re-heating and stretch-blowing on a separate blowing machine. Each method is designed to optimize efficiency, precision, and product quality.
TWO-STAGE PROCESS
- Drying and dehumidifying PET materials.
- Injecting molten raw materials into a preform mold using an injection machine.
- Cooling the molten PET to ambient temperature.
- Completing the preform processing using a finishing machine.
- Transferring the preform to stretch blow molding machines that are still heating up.
- Injecting high-pressure air into bottles using metal blow molds.
